A couple of photos from the No Kings rally in DC

I appreciate the ecumenical critiques. Not to “both-sides” it: there are significant differences and fairly one-sided undemocratic reasons for the complete deadlock, but the clippy sign could very well stand the test of time. I had my ear out for process and not just content critiques from the stage.

A woman in a wheelchair holds up a sign that says 'Clippy helps more than this congress,' with a printed illustration of the infamous Microsoft Office software help agent. A woman holds a bust (possibly meant to be a worn worn) of the Statue of Liberty above herself. Lady Liberty has a look of dismay on her face. Next to her, a sign says We The People in Declaration-style script. A sign held by an onlooker says 'RIF Vought.' A wide shot of a folks at the No Kings rally today. Signs say 'Defend Democracy: It's Time For A General Strike', 'EAT (struck-through), TAX THE RICH', 'IMPEACH, CONVICT, REMOVE.' A free DC t-shirt can be seen, a man wears a shirt with multiple 'rock on' hand signs in different colors, it says 'we rock together.'
